Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering high-quality results. If you're looking for a career where you can utilize your exceptional skills to enhance customer experiences and be part of a dynamic team, this opportunity is for you. As the Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Building Maintenance
- Proficiency in drywall repair and preparation.
- Experience in interior commercial painting and drywall.
- Basic plumbing and electrical skills.
- Ability to install and repair appliances.
- Capable of performing tasks such as snow removal, parkade clean-up, heavy garbage removal, moving and lifting heavy appliances, and similar duties.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and improvements in common areas.
Building Operations
- Experience with HVAC and Building Automation Systems.
- General knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, pumps, and closed-loop systems (hot water, glycol, cooling water).
- Familiarity with fire protection systems.
- Understanding of emergency generator operations.
Customer Service & Communication
- Uphold and enhance the customer service experience.
- Respond promptly to tenant requests.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably with residential properties.
- Must have strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Availability to work after hours, on-call on a rotational schedule, including weekends, and respond to emergency calls.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
