We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
  • Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling guidelines.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a background in the food industry or hospitality.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage; training will be provided if necessary.
