Overview

We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, create a relaxing environment for clients, and contribute to the overall success of our salon. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in nail artistry, customer service, and retail sales while maintaining high standards of sanitation and professionalism. Candidates should be passionate about beauty and dedicated to delivering outstanding client experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
  • Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization procedures to ensure client safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Provide body waxing services as needed, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction
  • Upsell retail products such as nail care items, lotions, and other beauty products to enhance client experience and increase sales
  • Deliver excellent customer service by listening to clients' needs, offering professional advice, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare instructions
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies throughout each shift

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role in a professional salon environment
  • Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, current trends, and sanitation protocols
  • Experience with body waxing is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively
  • Ability to upsell retail products confidently to maximize sales opportunities
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Prior experience in retail sales within the beauty industry is a plus
