Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our dynamic construction team. Duties

• Coordinate project schedules using advanced construction management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, ensuring timely progression of all project phases.
• Assist in developing detailed construction estimates by leveraging skills in construction estimating and Bluebeam to review plans, schematics, and blueprints.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and submittals with precision and transparency.
• Facilitate communication between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clarity and alignment on project objectives.
• Support project managers by tracking progress against timelines, budgets, and quality standards through diligent project scheduling and progress reports.
• Oversee on-site activities by collaborating with construction site teams, reading blueprints and schematics accurately, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Utilize civil engineering software such as Civil 3D for site layout planning and coordination with civil works.
• Assist in procurement processes by reviewing bids using HeavyBid or similar construction management software to ensure competitive pricing and compliance.
• Monitor project milestones and deliverables while managing time effectively to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Maintain comprehensive records of project activities, including daily logs, safety reports, inspection checklists, and correspondence for audit readiness.
• Support the review of construction drawings and schematics to ensure accuracy before execution begins.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management or project coordination within a heavy civil or commercial construction environment.
• Strong proficiency with project management software such as Primavera P6, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, ProCore, Construction management software tools, and schematics reading.
• Solid understanding of construction estimating processes along with experience reading blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Familiarity with contracts administration and change order procedures within a construction setting.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction site safety protocols and experience working directly on or near active sites is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly across diverse teams including engineers, contractors, clients, and suppliers.
• Technical skills in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools are highly desirable.
• A background in civil engineering or related technical field is a plus but not mandatory if complemented by relevant experience.
