The Opportunity:

We're looking for an experienced
Program Manager
to take the lead on exciting new product launches — from concept to production. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll be the driving force behind cross-functional teams, making sure every program hits its targets on timing, budget, and quality. If you thrive in fast-paced automotive environments and love seeing a project come to life, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Oversee new and revised programs from business award to successful production launch.
  • Lead APQP teams, ensuring launches are completed on time, on budget, and to spec.
  • Supervise Project and Design Engineers, keeping development and design activities on track.
  • Work directly with customers to provide DFM/DFA feedback and feasibility improvements.
  • Manage all program documentation — drawings, BOMs, change notices, and project history — to keep everything organized and audit-ready.
  • Coordinate prototype and production sample submissions, ensuring all quality and testing data are completed on time.
  • Support production readiness by coordinating facility changes, new equipment installations, and packaging requirements.
  • Participate in design and readiness reviews, and be hands-on during build events and launch activities.
  • Partner with purchasing and quality teams to manage sub-suppliers and tooling vendors.
  • Oversee tooling design, build, trials, and production sign-off.
  • Drive continuous improvement through cost-reduction initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively during launch.
  • Support post-launch engineering changes and ongoing program improvements.
  • Travel regularly to customer, supplier, and tooling partner sites to keep things moving smoothly.

What You'll Need To Be Successful:

  • A degree or diploma in Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of program management experience and 5 years of engineering experience in the automotive industry.
  • Solid background in injection molding, painting, and assembly processes.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive exterior plastic components.
  • Hands-on experience launching programs with major OEMs.
  • Strong understanding of APQP principles, GD&T, and ADVP&R.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills — you know how to keep teams aligned and motivated.
  • Comfortable using MS Office, Project, and database tools (macros are a plus).
  • A valid passport and the ability to travel within North America and internationally as needed.
