Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with Excel. The Site Supervisor will coordinate between subcontractors, vendors, and clients representatives to deliver successful project outcomes while maintaining compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Duties

  • Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project drawings and specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution
  • Utilize Microsoft Office programs, documentation, and communication
  • Monitor quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
  • Manage project budgets by tracking costs and coordinating procurement of materials and equipment
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety protocols and identify potential hazards
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to management and stakeholders regularly
  • Oversee construction estimating processes to assist in project planning and resource allocation as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience in the commercial construction industry with a strong understanding of construction management practices
  • Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings accurately
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations on construction sites
  • Strong skills in budgeting and managing project schedules
  • Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to coordinate workers and subcontractors effectively
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with client representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and team members
