Kotn is looking for a Cashier to provide exceptional customer service while ensuring seamless and efficient transaction processes. As an essential part of the Retail Team, you will work to create a welcoming and engaging shopping experience for all customers. This is an exciting opportunity, integral to the growth and success of Kotn's Retail Business Vertical.
What you'll be working on:
Customer Service Excellence & Brand Experience (40%)
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, reflecting Kotn's values.
- Ensure every customer interaction aligns with Kotn Experience Standards, executing the 5 steps: Greet, Identify, Supply, Provide, and Conclude.
- Educate customers on Kotn's brand story, values, and sustainability practices to enhance their experience.
- Handle customer inquiries and problem-solve customer service opportunities, demonstrating a solution-oriented mindset.
- Own the store phone and email, ensuring prompt responses to customer inquiries.
Transaction Management & Loss Prevention (30%)
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately, completing transactions efficiently while enforcing best practices for loss prevention at the cash desk.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift, addressing discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including managing packaging supplies.
Store Operations Support & Sales Adaptability (30%)
- Drive customer opt-in rates by effectively capturing customer information as a key performance indicator (KPI).
- Assist with inventory management by tagging, restocking, and organizing products.
- Collaborate with the retail team to meet sales and customer service goals.
- Be flexible and adaptable to be zoned as a sales associate during non-peak times and actively engage in selling beyond the cash desk.
- Share customer feedback with the team to enhance the in-store experience.

Additional Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is an asset.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light merchandise as needed.
- Availability on weekends (Fri-Sun), holidays, and during special activations.

Kotn recherche un(e) Caissier / Caissière pour offrir un service client exceptionnel tout en assurant des transactions fluides et efficaces. Membre essentiel de l'équipe Retail, vous contribuerez à créer une expérience d'achat accueillante et engageante pour tous les clients. Il s'agit d'une opportunité stimulante et clé pour le développement et le succès de la division Retail de Kotn.
Vos responsabilités:
Service client et Expérience de marque (40%)
- Accueillir et interagir avec les clients de manière amicale et professionnelle, en reflétant les valeurs de Kotn.
- S'assurer que chaque interaction client respecte les standards d'expérience Kotn, en appliquant les 5 étapes : Accueillir, Identifier, Fournir, Proposer, Conclure
- Informer les clients sur l'histoire, les valeurs et les pratiques de durabilité de Kotn afin d'enrichir leur expérience.
- Gérer les demandes clients et résoudre les difficultés en adoptant une approche proactive et orientée vers les solutions.
- Gérer le téléphone et les emails du magasin, en veillant à répondre rapidement aux demandes des clients.
Gestion des transactions & Prévention des pertes (30 %)
- Traiter avec précision tous les paiements (espèces, cartes, moyens numériques), en réalisant les transactions de manière efficace tout en respectant les procédures de prévention des pertes à la caisse.
- Effectuer le pointage de la caisse à la fin de chaque service et résoudre rapidement toute différence.
- Veiller à ce que la zone de caisse soit propre et bien organisée, y compris la gestion des fournitures d'emballage.
Support aux opérations en magasin & Adaptabilité commerciale (30 %)
- Encourager les inscriptions clients en collectant efficacement leurs informations (KPI).
- Participer à la gestion des stocks : étiquetage, réassort et organisation des produits.
- Collaborer avec l'équipe pour atteindre les objectifs de vente et de service client.
- Faire preuve de flexibilité, en travaillant sur le plancher de vente en dehors des périodes de forte affluence et en contribuant activement à la vente au-delà de la caisse.
- Communiquer les retours clients à l'équipe pour améliorer l'expérience en magasin.

- Précision et efficacité dans la gestion des transactions et le pointage de la caisse.
- Engagement à respecter les standards de prévention des pertes à la caisse.
Capacités relationnelles et communication
- Savoir répondre avec assurance aux demandes des clients et collaborer avec l'équipe retail.
- Résoudre de manière proactive les problématiques de service client en adoptant une approche orientée solutions.
Adaptabilité et flexibilité
- S'épanouir dans un environnement retail dynamique et s'ajuster facilement aux priorités changeantes.
- Être capable d'intervenir comme vendeur sur le plancher de vente en dehors des périodes de forte affluence pour soutenir les ventes.
Exigences supplémentaires:
- Une expérience préalable dans le retail ou le service client est un atout.
- Compétences de base en calcul et maîtrise des systèmes de point de vente (POS).
- Capacité à rester debout pendant de longues périodes et à soulever des articles légers si nécessaire.
- Disponibilité les week-ends (vendredi à dimanche), les jours fériés et lors d'activations ou événements spéciaux.
