At Sync Robotics Inc. we design and deploy custom automated systems for manufacturing customers across the continent. Our facility is in the stunning Okanagan Valley, which features hot summers, mild winters, sandy freshwater beaches, extensive hiking & mountain biking trails, golf, orchards, wineries, and two ski hills within a 1-hour drive.

As our growth continues, so does our team of talented individuals. We are seeking an Warehouse Administrator; someone who is detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
The ideal applicant would be someone with hands-on experience managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining stock levels in a fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities:
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Ability to build pallets
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Forklift certification preferred but not required; training can be provided
- Previous experience in warehouse/logistics and administration is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong administrative skills, including a high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication interpersonal skills with a collaborative work style
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and in a team-based environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Proficiency in inventory management software is an asset
Responsibilities include:
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Build pallet structures and marine wrap robots
- Support with general clerical duties, including filing paperwork, answering phones, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, checking mail, and maintaining office supplies
- Support procurement by managing and placing orders with vendors, maintaining inventory levels, setting up new vendors, following up on overdue Purchase Orders, finding alternatives to items unavailable, and negotiating better pricing
- Prepare and process orders, including picking, packing and shipping
- Assist in scheduling incoming and outgoing shipments, including order processing, inventory management and coordinating with the carriers ensuring on-time delivery
- Receive incoming shipments, check contents against purchase orders and packing slips, reporting any issues
- Manage returns and communicate with customers regarding order status and delivery issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our inventory management software
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including organizing stock, conducting quarterly cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies; labelling and storing items in the proper location
- Perform additional duties and provide support to various departments as needed
