Job Summary

Wise Mind Psychological Services is expanding, and we're looking for a thoughtful, creative, evidence-based clinician to join our team

Our practice specializes in providing DBT, CBT, and trauma treatment for a wide variety of clients, but with a particular focus on the treatment of Eating Disorders, PTSD, BPD/emotion dysregulation, anxiety disorders and complex clinical presentations.

We are seeking dedicated Psychologists, Psychology Associates, Registered Psychotherapists or Registered Social Workers to join our mental health team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Training in DBT or CBT and trauma-informed care.
  • Enjoy working with young adults and adults with complex needs.
  • And be available to work on site 1 - 2 days a week.
  • Sense of humour is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provision of psychotherapy CBT/DBT to adults or adolescents.
  • Conduct intake assessments.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments (psychogists and psychological associates).
  • Attent a weekly consultation team meeting.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.
  • Interest in (co) facilitating group psychotherapy (e.g., DBT skills, CBT for anxiety) is an asset.

Experience

  • Prior training in DBT and/or CBT with adults.
  • Experience providing trauma informed care.
  • A minimum of three years experience.
  • Experience in the treatment of eating disorders and/or trauma would be an asset.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $125.00-$165.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
