Strategic Contract Management & Legal Support
- Own the entire lifecycle of Consultant Contracts, including drafting, negotiation, interpretation, and ongoing management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for coordinating legal review and execution of all Client and Architect agreements alongside internal specialists.
- Drive contract negotiation by preparing and refining draft agreements and managing discussions with external stakeholders.
- Serve as a critical resource for internal project teams, providing expert interpretation and review of diverse legal documents, such as RFPs and specialized IT agreements.
- Ensure accountability through the systematic generation and distribution of monthly status reports detailing the existing portfolio of Consultant Contracts.
- Cultivate professional relationships by managing all correspondence and coordination with consultants, clients, and architects.
- Maintain a rigorous system for documenting, tracking, and archiving all draft and final executed Consultant Contracts.
- Manage digital contract platforms (e.g., RAIC, OAA, AIA, AIBC) to facilitate efficient contract creation, modification, and finalization.
- Maintain compliance by proactively monitoring and implementing updates based on changing legislative and regulatory amendments.
- Perform timely and detailed review of all incoming Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Coordinate with external legal counsel to manage and address active litigation issues.
- Support risk mitigation efforts by consulting with the firm's insurance broker regarding client insurance coverage and compliance.
