Position Overview

As Regional QA Inspector North Interior, you perform coating and corrosion inspections for BC Hydro facilities and pipelines in northern BC, execute ITP based surface preparation and application checks, monitor environmental conditions, produce clear daily inspection and progress reports, and support NCR logging and verification while working independently in remote field settings.

Location: Requires travel to Northern BC (Prince George/ Fort St. John region)

Employment Type: Contract Full-time

Reports to: Lead QA Inspector

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct surface preparation and coating inspections per ITPs.
  • Monitor environmental conditions and coating application.
  • Prepare detailed daily inspection and progress reports.
  • Support NCR logging and verification.

Qualifications

  • NACE/AMPP CIP Level 2 Certification (required).
  • 5–8 years of coating QA/QC experience.
  • Field experience in remote or industrial environments.
  • Ability to travel and work independently.
