Job Overview
A Tree service company is seeking an experienced Bucket Operator to join our tree care crew. The ideal candidate will operate aerial lift trucks to assist with tree pruning, removals, and utility line clearing while working closely with a professional arborist team.
**This position requires starting work directly at job sites in the east end of the city, with occasional starts from our shop in Etobicoke**
Responsibilities
- Operate bucket truck/aerial lift safely and efficiently during tree trimming and removal operations
- Assist with ground operations, rigging, and cleanup as needed
- Perform work according to industry and company safety standards
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and regular maintenance checks on equipment
- Tree removal work in public areas, as well as pruning around energized utility lines when required, following proper safety protocols
- Support the crew in all aspects of job-site duties
- Follow all safety procedures during operations, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Qualifications
- Valid DZ driver's license
- Experience operating a bucket truck or aerial lift (tree service experience preferred)
- Ability to work safely around powerlines and traffic
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to perform labor-intensive tasks
**Utility Line Clearing Certification is an asset**
**ISA Arborist certification is an asset**
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
