Position Summary: We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to be the first smiling face our clients see when they walk through the door. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a love for animals, and the ability to multitask in a busy, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and their pets with warmth, compassion and professionalism
  • Schedule appointments, triage emergencies, and confirm visits
  • Answer phone calls and emails promptly and courteously
  • Process payments, maintain accurate client records, and handle billing inquiries
  • Support veterinarians and technicians by updating patient information, and assisting with client education
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all clinic policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfort with technology and veterinary management software (Avimark, etc.)
  • Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor with clients and team members
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
  • Bonus if you are Fear Free Certified
