Job Description

As a Health Care Aide (HCA) at Gold Star Care Corp, you will assist clients with daily living activities, promote their independence, and support their overall health and well-being. You'll work in a caring, professional environment that values respect, teamwork, and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, etc.)
  • Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping tasks
  • Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or needs to supervisors or nursing staff
  • Offer companionship, emotional support, and social engagement
  • Assist clients with exercises and mobility to promote physical health
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients at all times
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members

Requirements

Must have a valid Health Care Registry Number

Previous experience as a Health Care Aide (preferred)

Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Driving is an asset (reliable transportation preferred)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
