About Brytex

Brytex is the market leader in metal building systems across Western Canada. Our success is built on quality, reliability, and a commitment to excellence. We are seeking a Commercial Project Coordinator
to join our Commercial Division.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with
Metal Building Systems
and assemblies. Experience in
fabrication, production, or construction
is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain document control and accurate records for commercial projects
  • Review IFF (Issued for Fabrication) drawings, material lists, and trim details for accuracy
  • Verify building plans align with Brytex's scope of work and client specifications
  • Identify and report project risks, issues, or changes to management
  • Issue fabrication drawing packages and distribute to shop and field teams
  • Purchase project materials such as cladding, insulation, and accessories
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Coordinate freight and delivery of fabricated components to project sites
  • Support installation teams during construction and help resolve site issues
  • Conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress and perform inspections
  • Attend production and drafting meetings as required

Qualifications

  • 1 or 2+ years of project coordination experience (construction, manufacturing, or fabrication preferred)
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is an asset
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and detail-focused
