Director of Sales - Packaging Division

Our client, a leading player in the packaging industry, is seeking a talented and ambitious sales leader ready to take on the role of Director of Sales. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic professional to lead, mentor, and grow a team of 4 account representatives and 3 customer service representatives. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 4 account representatives and 3 customer service representatives.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clients.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing any issues promptly.
- Analyze market trends and provide insights to the team to stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and finance, to ensure alignment and achieve company goals.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Stay updated with industry developments and trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Train and develop team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.
- Manage and monitor sales performance, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.

Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the plastic and packaging industry, with a focus on flexible packaging, consumer packaging, and food packaging.
- Proven track record in managing and mentoring sales teams.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and make strategic decisions.
- Results-driven and customer-focused mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
