Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to help drive our business growth. This role will be responsible for generating new leads, building relationships with potential clients, and maintaining strong connections with current customers. The ideal candidate will be confident in cold calling and possess excellent communication skills to represent Turf Suppliers Canada professionally and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Cold Calling & Lead Generation: Reach out to potential clients through cold calls and emails to generate new business opportunities.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct phone and virtual sales presentations to showcase Turf Suppliers Canada's products and services, addressing client needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's product offerings, including turf types, installation services, and maintenance options, to effectively assist customers.
- Follow-Up & Closing Sales: Follow up on leads, track prospects through the sales pipeline, and close sales to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Sales Reporting: Document and report on daily/weekly sales activities, opportunities, and outcomes using CRM systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and customer service teams to identify potential markets, streamline processes, and improve overall sales strategies.
- Social Media Management: Manage the company's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to increase brand awareness, engage with customers, and drive online traffic.
- Create and schedule engaging posts to promote products, services, and industry-related content.
- Respond to inquiries and customer comments on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze social media performance and optimize strategies to increase engagement and leads.
- Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the showroom is well-organized, clean, and displays Turf Suppliers Canada's products in an attractive and informative way.
- Regularly update product displays and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure that showroom visitors receive a seamless and informative experience.
- Manage inventory in the showroom and restock displays as needed.
- Accurately cut turf products based on customer orders, ensuring the correct specifications and measurements
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in cold calling and sales is highly preferred, particularly in a B2B or B2C environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage potential clients and create rapport. Must be fluent in English
- Goal-Oriented: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets through proactive cold calling and lead generation.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating with the sales team to achieve company goals.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) to track leads, sales progress, and customer interactions.
- Positive Attitude: A resilient attitude with the ability to handle rejection and stay motivated in a sales-driven environment.
- Industry Knowledge (preferred): Familiarity with the turf industry and related products is a plus but not required.
