Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
  • Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering as needed
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
  • Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and serving techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with others
