PIPE LAYER – FULL-TIME/Seasonal (Steinbach, MB)

JR Sewer & Water Ltd. is a locally owned and growing underground utility company specializing in sewer and water infrastructure repairs, installations, and services. We partner with our clients to deliver practical solutions for development, installation, and design projects — all while maintaining a strong focus on honesty, safety, accountability, and professionalism.

We're looking for a Pipe Layer to join our crew full-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of a crew to locate, excavate, and install new or replacement sewer, water, and land drainage systems
• Ensure all work meets regional standards, approved plans, and shop drawings
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, crew members, and subtrades
• Participate in daily and weekly safety meetings
• Support and maintain a positive, respectful, and productive work environment

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a pipe layer
• Experience with mainline sewer and water, services, and land drainage
• Reliable transportation and a valid Class 5 driver's licence (Class 3 an asset)
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
• References are required

Compensation

• $28.00 – $34.00 per hour, based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
