HNR Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and safety practices, with the ability to work on various projects in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Candidates with classroom experience and teaching skills will be highly regarded, as we value the ability to share knowledge and mentor others.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Instruct and train students in the safe and effective use of four primary welding processes: Stick Welding (SMAW), MIG Welding (GMAW), TIG Welding (GTAW), Flux-Cored Welding (FCAW)
• Deliver both classroom theory and hands-on practical training to individuals at various skill levels.
• Demonstrate proper welding techniques, safety practices, equipment setup, and troubleshooting methods.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback, coaching, and skill assessments.
• Develop or contribute to lesson plans, course outlines, training materials, and safety protocols.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized training environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Evaluate student competencies through testing, projects, and performance-based assessments.
• Stay current with industry standards, certifications, and advancements in welding technologies.
• Assist in training new employees or apprentices in welding techniques and best practices.

Experience

• Previous minimum experience of 10 years in welding is required; certification in welding processes is preferred.
• Classroom experience or teaching background is a plus, enhancing the ability to train others effectively.
• Familiarity with various welding equipment and tools, along with a strong understanding of safety practices in the workplace.
