Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tool and Die Trainee located in Wallaceburg, ON. We are currently seeking employees who are willing to learn the tool and die trade. The trainee will assist in the development, and maintenance of die cast and trim dies. Trainees will work closely with experienced team members to gain hands-on experience and build their skills in the field. Must be willing and able to show up to work each scheduled day.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding and willingness to learn the skills for tool and die making
  • Proficiency in operating machinery and using hand tools
  • Ability to read/learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills under the guidance of experienced professionals
  • Must be able to maintain excellent attendance record, and show up to work each scheduled day.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or coursework in related fields is beneficial
