We are in search of a Night Auditor

REPORTS TO: Guest Services Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out and settlements by type and cashier
  • Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service and the computer.
  • Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift.
  • Input into the front office system revenue/expenses/allowances to generate the daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
  • Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.
  • Is able to function as a front desk agent to complete reservations, check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Respond to guest needs, special request, complaints and alert the appropriate Manager.
  • Perform security checks of the hotel interior (hallways, stairwells, restaurant, meeting rooms and public areas), exterior and parking lot.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Customer Centric approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to think independently, possess good judgment, proven problem-solving skills and effective decision-making skills
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work nights
