Job Summary

New bistro looking for a dedicated and experienced cook. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating expertise food preparation, and cooking. This role requires excellent leadership skills to manage kitchen staff effectively while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality are maintained.

Duties

  • Coordinate daily kitchen activities, ensuring efficient meal preparation and service.
  • Oversee food preparation processes to maintain consistency and quality across all dishes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
  • Collaborate with management to develop menus that align with customer preferences and dietary needs.
  • Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment, with a strong understanding of food service operations.
  • Skills in serving, meal preparation, cooking, and food handling are essential.
  • Completion of food safety course and knowledge of regulations and best practices is required.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.
