Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Protective Services Officer to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement, surveillance, and loss prevention, with the ability to operate CCTV systems effectively. As a Protective Services Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing theft, and ensuring the safety of individuals on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor CCTV systems to identify potential security breaches or unsafe conditions.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to ensure effective communication regarding security matters.
  • Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, visitors, and staff members.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures to enhance overall safety measures.

Experience

  • Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
