This role is ideal for an experienced team leader who is motivated, results-driven and willing to take ownership of branch operations. As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business, driving growth, and ensuring exceptional customer experience. Your ability to problem-solve, coupled with exceptional leadership skills, will ensure your success in this role. In the interim, the position will report to Mike Hamilton, Vice President, Branch and DC Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee branch operations, including customer service, inventory management and logistics, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Coordinating with the outside sales team to ensure customer commitments and requirements are being achieved.
  • Establish a high-performing team culture through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and leading by example aligned with the company's core values.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners will be essential.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement development plans to drive individual and team growth.
  • Ensure that team members are trained and comply with company policies and operational procedures. Champion a workplace where safety comes first by consistently following health and safety principles.
  • Work closely with senior management to present and execute corporate strategies for the branch.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a branch or operational management capacity.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and customer service excellence.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving skills and conflict resolution.
  • Experience managing inventory, warehousing and day-to-day branch operations.
  • Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team to achieve shared goals.
  • Professional demeanour and strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency with ERP system and Microsoft Office applications
  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
