The Spa Concierge provides a combination of Hostess, Receptionist and AquaPath Attendant duties for all arriving clients and throughout their services in accordance with the Living Shore Spa's Standards of Service and Health & Safety Protocols

This position reports directly to the Spa Manager and Concierge Team Lead.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

1. Demonstrate through their own behaviour the 4 Core Values of Caring, Character, Chemistry and Competency in providing a fun and caring environment for our guests and clients and fellow team members.

2. The position is a combination of duties that consist of Hostess, Receptionist and AquaPath Attendant.

3. Assist in greeting arriving clients, reconfirming the services booked and the health & safety protocols in place.

4. Assist in answering incoming phone calls, promoting our various services and booking appointments.

5. Promote and sell our retail products.

6. Ensure adequate linens, towels and guest supplies are stocked throughout the various areas of the Spa including treatment rooms, changerooms, showers, AquaPath and various storage areas.

7. Assist in collecting all dirty towels, linens, robes to be taken to the laundry department and clean laundry returned to the Spa.

8. Cleaning duties throughout the Spa as required.

9. Act as a host for AquaPath clients guiding them through the experience and maintaining all health & safety protocols and standards as well as the client's comfort in the area.

10. Respond to guest complaints in a positive and helpful manner. Resolve complaints in a way that ensures the client is satisfied, will return again and that every guest departs happy.
11. Maintains and delivers a "no compromise" attitude towards providing the highest possible level of Hospitality, Quality and Value to the guest.
12. Adheres to all of the mandatory written standards of operations, policies, procedures, manuals, oral instructions, employee handbook that is in place at Living Water Resorts.
13. Communicate in a professional manner maintaining good relationships, listens and responds appropriately to our guests and fellow staff members and and actively works as part of a team.
14. Ensure that staff uniform and grooming standards are maintained on a daily basis.
15. Maintain guest / employee confidentiality.
16. Ensure the safe handling of all cleaning supplies.

18. Adhere to all Health & Safety, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board policies and procedures and promotes and works in a safe manner at all times.
19. May perform other duties and functions as assigned based on business levels throughout the resort.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Work experience in a Spa environment an asset
• Passion for excellent customer services skills
• Possess good interpersonal and organizational skills and have a strong ability to prioritize.
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent attention to details
• Must be able to maintain standards under variable conditions
• Professional attitude and appearance at all times

Working Conditions

• Works the majority of the time indoors
• Must be physically fit to lift, stretch, bend and move to properly assist with cleaning duties

throughout the spa

• Must be able to bend, reach, lift at least 25-30lbs
• Must be able to walk and stand for an average of 7-8 hours per shift
• Must be able to work flexible hours and days including mornings, afternoons, evenings,

weekends and holidays

Additional Information

This position requires a responsible, mature individual with initiative and a hands-on approach.

The incumbent must be well organized, flexible and have the ability to prioritize for maximum efficiency. This position requires someone with strong interpersonal skills, who is responsive to internal and external demands.
