ROLE SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Supervisor, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the growth and development of the Activa brand, both traditionally and digitally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in the development and production of key marketing collateral.
• Work alongside the marketing team to generate and distribute content creation to drive traffic, engagement, and leads; including, but not limited to, creating, writing and editing content for social media, blogs, newsletters, emails, website, and other communications as assigned.
• Plan, film and edit engaging video content for use across digital platforms (social media, website, campaigns, and internal communications).
• Coordinate and execute social media campaigns and ensure alignment with overall marketing campaign.
• Assist in maintaining the social media editorial calendar and posting valuable, shareable content regularly, ensuring Activa is positioned as an industry leader online.
• Maintain mailing list database to improve lead generation activities.
• Provide administrative support for Salesforce and Pardot CRM systems.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret industry research and internal data to support marketing initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate from a Marketing-related degree program.
• Minimum of 1 year of working/co-op experience.
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills with an emphasis on writing for the web and social media.
• Working knowledge of software programs including MS Office and Windows Explorer
• Experience in shooting and editing video with Premier Pro required.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM, Pardot, Graphic Design or Adobe Suite is an asset.
• Knowledge of or a keen interest in the home building industry is an asset but not required.
• Ability to work outside core business hours occasionally to support events or launches on weekends or weeknights.
