With over 50 retail stores across the country, Urban Barn is a national retail chain offering high-quality furniture and home décor. Participate in the leadership of an inspiring furniture and home décor store. As a Shift Lead, you will collaborate with the Manager and Assistant Manager to create a positive working environment for the team and an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we are looking for candidates who can work 30-40 hours per week and are available to work a variety of shifts on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

What You Will Do:

  • Guide customers in their decor choices
  • Open, prepare and close the store
  • Train and coach team members
  • Supports operational tasks for stock and merchandising
  • Ensure the performance of the store
  • Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store

What you Bring:

  • At least 2 years of Retail sales experience
  • Experience in Customer Service Leadership
  • A passion for interior décor and merchandising
  • Commitment to a flexible schedule (Open to daytime, evening, and weekend shifts)
  • The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
