New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada Earth Angels Home Care Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year
Branch Manager – Nova Scotia North (Antigonish, New Glasgow, Truro)

About Earth Angels Home Care

Earth Angels Home Care has supported older adults across Nova Scotia for more than 20 years, helping individuals remain safe, independent, and empowered in the comfort of their own homes. Our philosophy is simple: extraordinary caregivers bring happiness home. We provide compassionate, personalized care tailored to every individual and family we serve. Our caregivers receive ongoing training, including specialized dementia care education, and are supported by strong leadership, a collaborative culture, and a commitment to excellence.

With branches across the province and a rapidly expanding footprint in Northern Nova Scotia, we combine local community presence with the strength of an established, mission-driven organization. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a high-performing, strategic, and people-driven Branch Manager to elevate our operations in Antigonish, New Glasgow, and Truro.

Position Overview

This is a senior regional leadership role. We are looking for a quick-thinking, high-energy, motivational leader who knows how to guide teams, solve problems, grow a business, and bring out the best in people. The ideal candidate is a big player—someone with documented experience driving expansion, improving operations, and adding measurable value.

You will oversee all Northern Operations, build a strong workplace culture, strengthen community partnerships, and ensure exceptional care delivery across all three branches. This role reports directly to the Regional Director.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Development

  • Inspire and motivate a multi-branch team with energy, positivity, and decisiveness.
  • Build a high-performance culture where staff feel supported, coached, and empowered.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management across Antigonish, New Glasgow, and Truro.
  • Maintain clear communication and support collaboration across the region.
  • Set the tone for professionalism, accountability, and client-first service.

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations across all three branches.
  • Direct scheduling, client intake, caseload planning, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure full compliance with company standards and provincial regulations.
  • Monitor KPIs to measure service quality, productivity, retention, and client satisfaction.
  • Support the on-call rotation and provide leadership for escalated situations.

Growth and Community Engagement

  • Develop and execute regional strategies that increase client acquisition and revenue.
  • Build strong relationships with referral partners, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
  • Identify market trends and new opportunities for service expansion.
  • Bring proven experience in scaling operations or growing service-based businesses.

Financial Leadership

  • Oversee regional budgets, staffing models, billing, and payroll.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to meet targets.
  • Provide clear, data-driven reporting to senior leadership.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure full compliance with all licensing, regulatory, and home care standards.
  • Implement quality assurance programs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex client or staff issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Regional Director and other leaders to align strategies and processes.
  • Support care planning and scheduling oversight to ensure exceptional client service.
  • Provide decisive leadership during complex operational issues.

Who Thrives in This Role

  • Quick thinker who excels under pressure
  • Naturally energetic, motivating, and team-focused
  • Strong culture builder with a passion for lifting others up
  • Growth-minded and excited by expansion opportunities
  • Client-focused with a strong commitment to service excellence
  • Analytical, strategic, and operationally strong
  • Solution-oriented and proactive
  • Driven, disciplined, and accountable for results
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and proven leadership experience (required)
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership or multi-site management experience (required)
  • Proven experience scaling operations or driving business growth
  • Strong understanding of Nova Scotia home care or healthcare systems
  • Excellent communication, team-building, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong operational, analytical, and decision-making abilities
  • Comfort with healthcare and scheduling technology platforms

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses
  • Health, dental, vision, and wellness benefits
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Opportunities for career progression and leadership development
  • A meaningful role where your work directly impacts families across Nova Scotia
  • The chance to lead one of the most important growth regions within Earth Angels Home Care

Schedule and Work Location

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability as needed for on-call leadership
  • Role can be based out of either the New Glasgow office or the Truro office
  • Regular in-person presence required across Antigonish, New Glasgow, and Truro
