Agilus is recruiting for a
Information Management Specialist
in the
oil & gas industry
in
a hybrid work environment in Waterdown, Ontario.

The Information Management Specialist is a newly established role responsible for providing strategic leadership, governance, and support in the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the company's information management practices.

A typical day:

  • Lead development and implementation of information management standards, procedures, processes and best practices.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance on information management scope, best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators to improve compliance to standards.
  • Manage resolution of information management issues through direct interaction across the organization.
  • Maintain the Company's information database system
  • Assist with coordination of external technical writing resources.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Combination of related education and 5+ years related work experience
  • Diploma or Certificate in Records and Information Management is an asset
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of electronic and physical information workflow and life cycles
  • Advanced skills with MS Office suite, Adobe Pro, and experience with a Document Management System
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
