Job Overview

Duties

  • Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries.
  • Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks, ensuring proper techniques are used to maximize recovery.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physiotherapist.
  • Prepare treatment areas by cleaning and organizing equipment and supplies before each session.
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs and provide guidance on daily activities to enhance recovery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to patient care and empathy towards patients' needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
