Le contractant en génie chimique sera principalement chargé d'assister le spécialiste en génie de la fabrication chimique dans les activités suivantes :

  • Comprendre, développer et gérer de nouveaux projets spécifiques à l'outillage des produits liés aux projets de lavage et de traitement chimiques.

  • Gérer les consommables pour les équipes opérationnelles.

Si nécessaire, un entrepreneur peut être invité à fournir un soutien supplémentaire aux spécialistes en génie de la fabrication chimique, par exemple :

  • Développer, mettre en "uvre, maintenir et améliorer en permanence les processus et/ou méthodes de réparation sur site qui sont capables de répondre et de continuer à répondre aux exigences en matière de qualité, de coût, de livraison et de délai.

  • Collaborer si nécessaire avec les équipes concernées (opérations, qualité, métrologie, maintenance, service clientèle, etc.) afin de s'assurer que les aspects techniques des processus de réparation sont compris et pris en compte.

  • Identifier les possibilités de nouveaux processus de réparation ou d'amélioration des processus existants afin de répondre aux exigences commerciales actuelles ou futures, conformément aux exigences liées à l'introduction de nouveaux produits.

Job Title: Chemical Engineer

6-month renewable contract

On-site, 100% full-time, 40 hours/week

Location: Lachine, QC

The chemical engineering contractor will primarily be expected to support the Chemical manufacturing engineering specialist in the following activities:

  • Understand, develop and manage new specific to product tooling projects related to chemical wash and processing projects.

  • Manage consumables for operational teams

If required, a contractor may be asked to provide additional support to the chemical manufacturing engineering specialists, such as:

-Develop, implement, maintain and continuously improve on-site repair processes and/or methods of repair which are capable of meeting and continuing to meet requirements for quality, cost, delivery and lead time.

  • Engage as necessary with relevant interfacing teams (Operations, Quality, Metrology, Maintenance, Customer Business etc.), to ensure technical aspects of repair processes are understood and accounted for.

  • Identify opportunities for new or improved repair processes to meet current or future business requirements in line with new product introduction requirements.
