We are seeking experienced Equipment Operators for an exciting LNG construction project in Squamish BC. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor/Bird General Partnership team (LB LNG) who collaboratively pride themselves on safety. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating in accordance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Essential Responsibilities
- Effectively and safely operates various equipment such as Loader, Skid Steer, Zoom Boom, Mini Hoe and Rock Truck - utilizing machine specific controls and machine attachments to complete all necessary tasks
- This includes operating on adverse terrain, near other equipment and heavy trafficked areas
- Operates in crowded, fast-paced working environments, and exercises extreme caution with awareness of potential situational hazards to ensure site safety.
- Interprets verbal and non-verbal communication (including hand signals) from operators, ground personnel and labourers, and acts accordingly.
- Performs mechanical inspections and servicing including controls and operations, completing logbooks, performs maintenance and adjustments, ensures good housekeeping
- Recognizes existing and potential hazards and knows how to identify these through conducting a field level pre-job hazard analysis, checking the machine for hazards and assessing any tasks before start.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating equipment in a high traffic setting
- Tickets operating multiple equipment is highly desired
- Ability to pass practical assessments on the equipment
- Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision and in a team environment
- Successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Valid Driver's License and clear 3-year driver's abstract
- CSTS-2020 or Site Ready BC is required
Work Conditions:
- Experienced applicants that reside in Squamish or surrounding areas will be given preference due to the location of this project
- 14 days on / 7 days off rotational shift
- Accommodation provided for non-local employees
- Travel allowance / flights provided from approved locations
- Extended health Benefits provided by CLAC
Wage:
$ $44.82
Compensation
This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.
Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.

Woodfibre Management Ltd, a privately held Canadian company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, is spearheading the Woodfibre LNG Project, a proposed Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) export facility currently in the pre-construction phase. Situated near Squamish, British Columbia, on the site of a former pulp mill, the project is a collaboration between Woodfibre LNG and Pacific Canbriam Energy, both subsidiaries of Pacific Energy Corporation Limited. Notably, the project has secured environmental approvals from the B.C. and Canadian governments, as well as from the Squamish Nation. This initiative, recognized as the first-ever environmental approval by an Indigenous people in the absence of a treaty, highlights Woodfibre's commitment to responsible and inclusive development. The facility aims to leverage low-emission Canadian natural gas, meeting high demand in countries transitioning from coal to natural gas for its environmental benefits. Through the use of renewable hydro-electricity, the project strives to become the world's lowest-emission LNG export facility.
