Associate Veterinarian – Vets Around the Corner (Port Perry, Ontario)
A veterinary career where you're a person — not a number.
At Vets Around the Corner, we're redefining what it means to be part of a veterinary team. We're a privately owned, family-operated animal hospital located in the heart of beautiful downtown Port Perry — a vibrant lakeside community known for its friendly people, scenic views, and small-town charm.
We believe in individualized, collaborative, and compassionate care — for our patients, our clients, and our team. Our philosophy is simple: when our people thrive, our patients and community do too. That's why we focus on work-life harmony, not just balance.
We're proud to be recognized for our innovation, community involvement, and leadership in veterinary medicine.
Nationally, we were named one of only five businesses across Canada (out of over 15,000 applicants) to win the TELUS #StandWithOwners Grand Prize, celebrating our innovative, community-based approach and commitment to breaking barriers to veterinary care through our Vets Around the Corner Community Veterinarian Program (CVP).
Locally, we were voted:
- #1 Animal Hospital in Scugog (Readers' Choice 2025)
- #1 Veterinary Service in Port Perry (Readers' Choice 2025)
- #1 Overall Business Service in Scugog (Readers' Choice 2025)
- Home to the #1 and #2 Veterinarians in Scugog (Readers' Choice 2025)
And we were honoured to receive the New Business of the Year Award and the People's Choice Award from the North Durham Chamber of Commerce
We're not just a clinic — we're part of the community. You'll find us in the Santa Claus Parade, at local outreach clinics, and even on the road in our very own veterinary ambulance
