Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled SolidWorks/AutoCAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various CAD software and possess a strong understanding of mechanical design and drafting principles. This role involves creating detailed schematics and drawings that will support our construction and design projects.

Duties

  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D models using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other CAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Create accurate schematics and drafting documents for mechanical designs.
  • Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCad as needed for project development.
  • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and ASME regulations.
  • Revise drawings based on feedback from production team members or clients.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and address any issues that arise.

Experience

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other relevant CAD software is essential.
  • Experience with mechanical design, drafting, and construction processes is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with animation techniques is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
