Toronto Tech Week (TTW) is a
citywide, community-driven event series

that showcases Toronto as a global hub of technology and creativity. From
May 25–29, 2026

, thousands of founders, investors, operators, and builders will gather across the city for hundreds of independently hosted events — each designed to foster meaningful connections, spark new ideas, and amplify Canadian innovation on the world stage.

In 2025, TTW brought together
15,000+ attendees, 315+ events, 418+ hosts, 27 neighbourhoods, and 538+ speakers

— making it the largest grassroots tech gathering in Canada.

The Role

We're looking for a
Social Media & Marketing Lead

to bring the creative spirit of TTW to life across digital and physical channels. You'll shape how Toronto Tech Week shows up in the world — from LinkedIn posts to billboards to slide decks.

This role blends
strategy and execution

: you'll own the marketing calendar, craft compelling copy, design engaging visuals, and help ensure TTW's voice is consistent, energized, and community-first. You'll collaborate closely with
Daybreak Studio

, one of TTW's founding brand partners, to align creative direction with execution.

What You'll DoSocial Media & Content

  • Execute TTW's social presence across
    LinkedIn, X, and Instagram

.
- Write and design posts that are clear, energized, and on-brand.
- Support Daybreak Studio in bringing TTW's creative vision to life.

Marketing & Design

  • Own and manage the
    TTW marketing calendar

.
- Design and produce assets across channels — digital (social, newsletters, decks) and traditional (posters, billboards, signage).
- Create slide decks for host webinars and sponsor updates.
- Support with newsletter drafting and campaign execution.

Web & Light Tech

  • Make light edits to the TTW website (Webflow knowledge a plus).
  • Ensure the TTW digital experience feels seamless and current.

What We're Looking For

  • Creative & versatile

— skilled in both copywriting and design.
- Social media fluent

— knows how to craft content for LinkedIn, X, and Instagram that cuts through noise.
- Organized & proactive

— able to manage a calendar, juggle deadlines, and self-start.
- Design-savvy

— strong working knowledge of design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, etc.).
- Marketing mindset

— understands how campaigns and visuals work across channels, from digital to print.
- Collaborative spirit

— excited to work with TTW's brand partner (Daybreak Studio) while also taking ownership of execution.
- Bonus points

for experience with Webflow and/or slide deck design.
