Job Description

Role: Warehouse Superviser

Job Summary: Your role will be to manage various aspects of the local retail warehouse and yard.

Job Responsibilities

  • Mentor and grow your core team, recognizing that a manager's success is only possible with a strong team

  • Oversee the daily warehouse operations, maintain control of orders received and shipped, and carry out all duties required in a timely and efficient manner

  • Work closely with our vibrant Roofmart Branch Staff and Sales Team to provide world class support and build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers

  • Grow new business and expand market share by providing solutions to the needs of current and future contractors, homeowners and customers by converting them away from competitor products.

 Qualifications

  • College Diploma or bachelor's degree (in Business/Sales/Logistics/Human Resources) and/or 5 or more years of successful warehouse/yard management, logistics experience

  • Solid inventory management skills, previous experience in overseeing a team and a warehouse, with a strong logistics background

  • James Hardie product knowledge and handling

  • Energetic, organized, confident and positive

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations

  • A critical thinker, a strong problem solver, and able to handle difficult situations

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to work shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends

  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required

  • Authorized to work in Canada
