-Role Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded Audio Hardware Engineer with strong experience In this role, you will lead the design, development, and validation of high-performance audio hardware, including digital audio processing, analog output stages, and system integration with embedded operating systems.
You will collaborate closely with firmware, software, and product development teams to deliver premium, modern audio devices with exceptional performance and reliability.
-Key Responsibilities
Design and develop digital and analog audio circuits, including DAC/ADC stages, analog output sections, low-noise power circuits, and precision clocking systems.
Architect and produce multilayer PCB designs optimized for audio quality, low noise, isolation, and EMC stability.
Work with firmware/software teams to integrate hardware platforms with embedded operating systems (e.g., Android/Linux-based environments).
Evaluate and select components such as DAC chips, op-amps, precision oscillators, LDOs, regulators, and other audio-grade components.
Perform prototype bring-up, testing, tuning, and validation for metrics including THD+N, SNR, jitter, noise floor, and overall system stability.
Conduct circuit simulation, schematic capture, and manage detailed PCB layout workflows using Altium Designer.
Define system-level requirements, hardware interfaces, and cross-module integration strategies.
Produce engineering documentation such as BOMs, schematics, manufacturing guidelines, test procedures, and calibration methods.
Support production teams in troubleshooting, quality control, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
Stay current with advancements in audio technology, digital interfaces, embedded hardware, and system design best practices-Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Audio Engineering, or an equivalent field.
Experience: 5+ years in audio electronics design (digital + analog).
Technical Skills:
.Strong proficiency in Altium Designer and multilayer PCB development.
.Expertise in digital audio interfaces: I2S, SPDIF, USB Audio, HDMI ARC/eARC.
.Deep understanding of analog audio design, op-amps, filtering, grounding, and low-noise power design.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and SoC platforms.
- Understanding of communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, USB, and wireless technologies.
Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, audio analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, debugging, and optimization skills for improving audio performance and system robustness.

Familiarity with Android or Linux-based audio frameworks, device drivers, and HAL integration.
Experience with DSP platforms or audio processing algorithms.
Understanding of network audio technologies and streaming protocols.

- Experience designing consumer audio products such as DACs, amplifiers, audio streamers, or other embedded audio devices
- Strong understanding of network-based audio technologies and modern streaming protocols (e.g., AirPlay, DLNA, UPnP, Roon, Bluetooth, etc.)

– Responsabilités principales
- Concevoir et développer des circuits audio numériques et analogiques, incluant les étages DAC/ADC, sections de sortie analogiques, circuits d'alimentation à faible bruit et systèmes d'horloge de haute précision.
- Concevoir et produire des PCB multicouches optimisés pour la qualité audio, le faible bruit, l'isolation et la stabilité CEM.
- Travailler avec les équipes firmware/logiciel pour intégrer les plateformes matérielles aux systèmes d'exploitation embarqués (par ex. Android/Linux).
- Évaluer et sélectionner les composants tels que puces DAC, amplificateurs opérationnels, oscillateurs de précision, LDO, régulateurs et autres composants audio haut de gamme.
- Réaliser la mise en route, les tests, l'optimisation et la validation des prototypes pour des métriques telles que THD+N, SNR, jitter, bruit de fond et stabilité globale du système.
- Effectuer des simulations de circuits, la saisie de schémas et gérer les flux de travail détaillés de routage PCB avec Altium Designer.
- Définir les exigences système, les interfaces matérielles et les stratégies d'intégration entre modules.
- Produire la documentation technique : nomenclatures (BOM), schémas, directives de fabrication, procédures de test et méthodes d'étalonnage.
- Soutenir les équipes de production dans le dépannage, le contrôle qualité et l'optimisation des processus de fabrication.
- Se tenir à jour des avancées en technologies audio, interfaces numériques, matériel embarqué et bonnes pratiques de conception système.
– Qualifications
- Formation : Baccalauréat en génie électronique, génie audio ou discipline équivalente.
- Expérience : 5 ans ou plus en conception électronique audio (numérique + analogique).
Compétences techniques :
- Excellente maîtrise d'Altium Designer et du développement de PCB multicouches.
- Expertise des interfaces audio numériques : I2S, SPDIF, USB Audio, HDMI ARC/eARC.
- Solide compréhension des conceptions audio analogiques : amplificateurs opérationnels, filtrage, mise à la terre, conception d'alimentation à faible bruit.
- Connaissance des microcontrôleurs, systèmes embarqués et plateformes SoC.
- Compréhension des interfaces de communication : UART, SPI, I2C, USB et technologies sans fil.
- Maîtrise des équipements de laboratoire : oscilloscopes, analyseurs audio, analyseurs de spectre.
