Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction and manufacturing tasks, demonstrating proficiency in both hand and power tools. This role involves assembling components according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met, and collaborating with team members to achieve production goals.

Duties

  • Assemble and repair wood pallets according to pallet specifications ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Measure, cut and secure wood components
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly and repair tasks (nail gun, air compressor, chop saw and other wood cutting tools)
  • Inspect finished wood pallets for accuracy, quality, and durability
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and company guidelines
  • Occasional overtime may be required

Skills

  • Previous experience in woodworking, carpentry or similar trade
  • Ability operate hand tools, air compressors, nail guns, wood cutting saw etc.
  • Strong skills in flooring installation, roofing, masonry, and tile laying.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to produce quality work.
  • Dependable, punctual and able to work well independently or as a part of a team.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively.
  • Previous experience in maintenance person services or general construction is desirable.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
