Job Description

We are looking for a Civil Engineering Technologist to support our growing portfolio of residential and commercial projects. In this role, you will focus primarily on preparing technical drawings, layouts, and documentation, and supporting site inspections and field measurements. What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare technical drawings, plans and layouts for structural and civil projects (residential and commercial).
  • Assist in the design of foundations, framing systems, shoring, bracing, and other civil/structural elements.
  • Support project managers and engineers in producing construction documents and technical reports.
  • Apply building codes, engineering standards, and construction best practices to all work.
  • Assist with permit applications, technical submissions, and project documentation.
  • Conduct site inspections and field measurements to support and confirm design feasibility.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, project managers, and technologists as needed to ensure work is delivered on time.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project files.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working as a Civil Engineering Technologist
  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD or other 3D drafting software
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and civil/structural detailing
  • Knowledge of local codes, standards, and permitting processes
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines across concurrent projects
  • Ability to travel to project sites
