The OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre is a vibrant, not-for-profit organization providing childcare, clinical intervention and support services to children and youth with a variety of developmental conditions.

This role functions as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team and will require that our Centre's mission, vision and values be represented with spirit and professionalism.

Under the general direction of the Director of Finance, the Finance Support role will undertake a wide range of administrative functions supporting the finance service department. The Finance Support role will communicate with the Director of Finance regularly to ensure accountability in daily business functions, as well as ensure all other information is shared in an ongoing way.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

· 2 years accounting experience

· Payroll

· Accounts Payable

· Accounts Receivable

· Experience with SAGE and Ceridian systems

· Must possess strong math skills, the ability to analyze figures, knowledge of accounting principles and excellent verbal and written skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and organize efficiently

· Knowledge of accounting processes and familiarity with accounting software is also essential

· Communicate effectively both orally and in writing

· Work both independently and within an interdisciplinary team setting

· Tech savvy with advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel

· Ability to provide an acceptable criminal record check

· Support HR related tasks as assigned

· Performance of other related duties as assigned
