As the Sous Chef in Prince George, BC, you'll be responsible for a wide array of duties on a day-to-day basis. You'll manage the overall operations of our kitchen, ensuring the utmost quality and execution of our globally inspired dishes. Your responsibilities will include training and developing other team members, fostering a positive and productive work atmosphere, and maximizing profitability. You'll work with fresh, high-quality ingredients to create memorable culinary experiences for our guests. Your role will be pivotal in driving our commitment to the culinary arts and hospitality, making every dining experience a memorable one. Responsibilities:
- Inspirational leadership in all aspects of culinary operations, instilling a positive culture and role modeling hospitality.
- Collaborate with other leaders to drive outstanding daily culinary operations.
- Maximize long-term profitability through excellent leadership and mentorship of your team.
- Maintain the highest level of food quality execution and support ongoing culinary skills development within your team.
- Identify and develop high-potential individuals into leaders.
- Ensure the use of fresh, top-quality ingredients while balancing day-to-day operational costs.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated skilled business sense in inventory management, food cost, labor and scheduling, and variable costs.
- Proven leadership skills in developing people and motivating them to perform at their best.
- Deep passion for maintaining the highest level of food quality.
- Energetic, upbeat, and ambitious individual.
- Strong communication skills with a patient and understanding approach.
- Track record of achieving both professional and personal goals.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
