Sonata Window Fashions and Interior Design requires an experienced and professional sales person with an interest in textiles and design products. 3-5 years experience is preferred . The candidate should be comfortable with all major brands of window covering and fabric suppliers as well as draperies, upholstery, furniture, and wallcovering design and sales.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee client files from selection to execution
  • Pricing, ordering, procurement, and scheduling of products
  • Drapery and upholstery orders and work order forms including tracking orders and updating all departments
  • Write and distribute quotes, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Maintain supplier contact lists and supplier price lists
  • Provide general support to visitors, sales team, and operations
  • Strategic Outreach:
     Research and identify potential clients, partners, and key decision-makers within our target industries. Develop effective cold-calling strategies and tailor communication for optimal results.
  • Industry Engagement:
     Attend relevant industry events and conferences, actively networking with potential partners, clients, and key stakeholders to build our brand presence.
  • Relationship Building:
     Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their business needs, and positioning our solutions effectively.
  • Lead Generation:
     Generate qualified leads and schedule appointments for the sales team to pursue opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Collaboration:
     Work closely with marketing and sales teams to understand the ideal client profile and ensure a seamless transition of leads.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School degree; additional qualification in interior design or decorating would be a major asset
