WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Role:

We are seeking a versatile and collaborative Software Developer to join our IT team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, integrating third-party systems, and implementing commercial software packages. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value. As a key member of the IT team, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing business processes and enabling operational excellence at CoolIT Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Design, build, test, and maintain custom applications using modern development frameworks and languages.
• Application Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, cloud services).
• Software Implementation: Configure, customize, and deploy commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software solutions to meet business needs.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business units to understand functional requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for code, configurations, and integration workflows.
• Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for deployed applications and integrations, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, project managers, and infrastructure teams.

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and system integration.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and middleware platforms.
• Familiarity with enterprise software systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS).
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
