About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Medications: Process prescriptions for pets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with veterinary requirements.
  • Client Communication: Answer questions related to veterinary medications and provide guidance on their proper use.
  • Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of all compounded medications and prescriptions.
  • Support Pharmacists: Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of veterinary medications.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Veterinary Medical Terminology is required.
  • A willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Previous experience in a veterinary setting is required.
  • Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program certificate is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
