Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest control methods, be comfortable using various tools, and have excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients. If you have any type of small van or pick up truck. Company will provide gas & vehicle allowance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points.
- Develop and implement effective pest management plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Utilize farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently during pest control operations.
- Apply pesticides and other treatment methods in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and client interactions.
- Educate clients on preventative measures to minimize future pest issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pest control techniques, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools is highly desirable.
- Strong sales skills to effectively promote services and solutions to clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- If you have small van or pickup truck.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
