Location: 829 Highfield Ave SE, Calgary, AB, T2G 4C7

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL:

• Determine layout and installation procedures
• Ensure safe transportation of precious stone to the location.
• Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installation.
• Prepare and maintain work materials, using specialized equipment to install products.
• Read plans and drawing to determine exact location.
• Install product.

NON-ESSENTIAL:

• Other duties are assigned.

Experience:

REQUIRED:

• min 2 years of related work experience
• Proven experience in installation work

DESIRED:

• None.

Education/Skills:

REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on-site

Reasoning Ability:

• Must be able to follow AB Granito's/The Granite Guys core values.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to follow established procedures.

Working Conditions/Environment:

The job will be indoors (client's home and commercial buildings). The typical noise level for this job is considerably high. Ear protection is available

Work Schedule:

Eight hour workdays Monday through Friday of each week, with some Saturday work. Current and valid driver's license, without major violations in the last 5 years.

Starting time 7am.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week.

Applicant must be able to communicate in English. Work sites may vary throughout the City of Calgary and surrounding areas, so a vehicle and driver's license are necessary. Minimum education of high school completion is required. Health and life insurance benefits are offered after probation.
