Job Summary:

The Carpenter will support our Construction team with a range of tasks related to interior remodeling and renovation projects, including framing, trim work, drywall, flooring, and other finish carpentry duties. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on-site with minimal supervision. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Wage: Competitive hourly wage, based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Demolition of walls, flooring, cabinetry, and other interior components
• Load and unload materials and tools
• Measure, cut, and install materials
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite
• drywalling, tiling, framing, and assisting other skilled trades
• Operate hand and power tools safely
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Perform general labour duties as assigned by the site supervisor or lead hand
• Lead and supervise junior carpenters and labourers, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Provide on-site training, direction, and mentorship to team members.
• Monitor progress, delegate tasks, and report status updates or issues to management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction or renovations
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Knowledge of tools and safety practices
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various residential and commercial environments, including all weather conditions
• CSA-approved safety boots required
• Self supplied hand tools
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Clear criminal record
