We've partnered with a venture-backed mobile-first technology company that's redefining how users engage with consumer apps. They're currently enhancing their Android platform, focusing on delivering highly interactive and personalized user experiences. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative and product-driven team working on gamification, analytics, and seamless mobile UX. You'll work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to craft next-generation Android experiences using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced features for the Android platform using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement product features
  • Build scalable, modular application architecture following clean architecture and SOLID principles
  • Lead UI/UX enhancements focused on intuitive interaction and performance
  • Conduct code reviews, write unit/instrumentation tests, and maintain high-quality code
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team culture
  • Analyze data and debug issues to improve app performance and user experience
  • Stay current with Android ecosystem trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Android development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and AndroidX libraries
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture components
  • Solid knowledge of app architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience shipping apps to Google Play Store
  • Unit and instrumentation testing experience
  • Ability to refactor legacy code into modular, maintainable solutions
