WHO WE ARE

RunReady, the running health brand, is advancing the sport through research, innovation, and education. Led by Physiotherapists, it studies the human body and running footwear to help people run healthier and perform better. 

RunReady is part of a company that includes RunAsYouAre, a Vancouver-based specialty shop offering top footwear, apparel, and accessories. Since 2013, RunAsYouAre has supported the local running community through weekly runs and events. 

RunReady has launched the RunReady Performance Program, a new running health service available exclusively at the RunAsYouAre West 4th Avenue shop.

THE ROLE

As a Community Specialist, you will help expand how people discover and access RunReady. Your focus is to grow new business for RunReady Studio services, corporate wellness programs, and partnerships that connect the RunReady System to more runners, organizations, and clinics. You will lead outreach for health and wellness events, train-the-trainer workshops with gyms and coaching communities, and run club partnerships that highlight the value of RunReady. You will also help bring the RunReady System into new physiotherapy practices by building relationships across the clinical industry and representing RunReady at physiotherapy and educational events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCommunity Development and Partnerships | 50%
  • Network Expansion
    Build and manage relationships with physiotherapists, clinics, and community partners to grow RunReady's reach and adoption.
  • Business Development
    Drive both inbound and outbound new business opportunities, including bookings for RunReady Studio services, corporate workshops, and RunReady Performance Program sessions. Build and manage partnerships with healthcare, wellness, and fitness brands, venues, and corporate teams. Develop outreach strategies that support the adoption of the RunReady System within clinical practices, helping expand RunReady's presence.
  • Partnership Support
    Ensure that all partner communication, presentations, and event materials follow brand approved content and visual standards.
  • Relationship Management
    Maintain consistent communication with partners and collaborators to ensure alignment, quality, and shared success.
  • Sales Integration
    Support initiatives that drive program adoption, client referrals, and business growth through partnerships.
Event Planning and Execution | 25%
  • Program Development
    Plan and coordinate workshops, demos, and collaborative activations with partner organizations across wellness, fitness, run clubs, and clinical settings.
  • Brand Alignment
    Collaborate with the Brand and Marketing teams to ensure all activations, visuals, and communications follow brand approved standards.
  • Execution
    Oversee partnership logistics and ensure smooth delivery of RunReady-led activations and training sessions.
  • Performance Tracking
    Gather feedback and track engagement metrics to measure impact and inform future activations.
Cross Functional Collaboration | 15%
  • Internal Alignment
    Work with Product, Education, and Research teams to align partnerships and outreach initiatives with platform updates and clinical programs.
  • Retail Integration
    Collaborate with the RunAsYouAre retail team to create cohesive RunReady-hosted events and experiences.
  • Insight Sharing
    Participate in internal meetings to share partnership insights and collaboration opportunities.
Training and Internal Support | 10%
  • Research Sharing
    Share research insights with physiotherapists who use the RunReady platform.
  • Education Support
    Contribute to internal education sessions, webinars, and workshops.
  • Representation
    Represent RunReady at industry events to present RunReady-related key findings and encourage collaboration opportunities.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Licensed and in good standing with your affiliated college
  • Specialization in run-specific assessments and treatment is an asset
  • Strong interest in running, biomechanics, and injury prevention.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to translate clinical language into clear, user-friendly concepts.
  • Comfort working in cross-functional teams (product, engineering, design).
  • Experience with digital health products, SaaS platforms, or tech-enabled platforms
  • Ability to meet the scheduling requirements of this position hours / week in person at our studio on West 4th in Kitsilano, Vancouver)
  • Familiarity with Run Specialty / Retail is an asset
